5 DAYS MBARARA / LAKE BUNYONYI / KAMPALA
Day 1: Mbarara - After breakfast drive to Mbarara. Make a brief stop at the Equator, to take picture. Dinner and overnight at Regency Lakeview Hotel Mbarara.
Day 2: Bwindi - Early breakfast after which depart for the Mountain Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi arriving in time for lunch at the base. Afternoon, take a self guided walk around the camp and along the Munyaga River Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Day of Gorillas - Early morning breakfast then transfer to the base of the mountain. After a short briefing starting the trek, looking for the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, return to for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi - Breakfast and depart for Lake Bunyonyi. In the afternoon, take a canoe ride. Meals and overnight at Nature's a Prime Island.
Day 5: Kampala - After breakfast drive to Kampala for lunch at the Gallery Cafe. Drop at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight. |
